Spitfires in Concert for Royal British Legion

Friday 2nd November sees the Spitfire Marching Band present a showcase of it’s music at Thornden Hall, Thornden School, Chandlers Ford. The performance begins at 7pm and will contain a variety of music ranging from traditional marches to West End musicals and ‘Music from the Movies’. A proportion of the proceeds from the evening will be going towards the Royal British Legions’ Poppy Appeal 2007.
This will be a special evening for the band, as it is their first concert since becoming affiliated to the Royal British Legion. The affiliation was awarded by the Royal British Legion, following the Band’s continued support especially at this time of year approaching Remembrance Weekend.
