Fundraising for Jacks Place - Naomi House
As part of Hampshire Scouts challenge to raise £25,000 for “Jacks Place” part of Naomi House, the 12th Eastleigh Scout Group held a BBQ for it’s members families and friends at the end of their Group Camp held at Cheriton Cricket and Recreation Ground over the weekend of 11th, 12th and 13th July.
It was a sunny day and parents and grandparents arrived for a sumptuous BBQ prepared by the Exec committee members whilst watching the local cricket club play against a visiting side.
A raffle and donations were accepted as part of the fund raising event with a total of over £271 being raised for Jacks Place.
This is the start of Eastleigh District Scouts getting involved in the new Hampshire Scout fundraising effort to support Naomi House.
