Dear all, it is with great regret and sadness that I write this message informing you of the death of Paul Dovey
As most of you will know, Paul was taken ill last weekend and passed away peacefully this morning at 4am
No other details are available at the moment but be assured funeral information will be sent out as soon as available
The District is a sadder place today with the loss of a great character and supporter of Scouting at District and previously at County level – he will be sorely missed. Paul was always someone you could rely on for a smile and a joke, but more importantly willing to help whenever and whoever he could
