On Wednesday 21st October 4th Eastleigh’s HQ played host to a party for all the Beavers in the district to celebrate 100 years of Scouting in Eastleigh.
After weeks of planning and preparation the Beaver Scouts descended on our HQ on a dreary autumnal evening to meet up with Beavers from other colonies to play games and have a fun time. The Beavers played some new games led by Graham and Dawn from 8th Eastleigh and learned that colony’s song which they all had a great time acting out the moves as well. The faces of the Beavers lit up even more when Michael and Kerri brought round the lovely cake and Tracy gave out drinks.
All in all a good evening was had by all and we look forward to the next party in 100 years time.
