Mayoral Centenary Presentation

Mayor of Eastleigh Councillor Pamela Holden-Brown  welcomed the District into her Civic Offices Parlour at the end of November to receive a presentation to recognise our Centenary. Explorers Charlotte Walsh and James McCowan made a brief speech before handing over a large framed set of photographs that will be erected in the main thoroughfare of the Civic Offices.

The frame contains a copy of the District’s original registration certificate and a photo of one of the earliest 1st Eastleigh Troops. These are surrounded by images of young members taking part in a range of current Scouting activities, including some from our Centenary Camp.
