Information has reached Eastleigh Scout HQ about this year’s Towpath Race along the Itchen.
Starting at Mansbridge at 7:30am on 2nd April, the race is open to all members of the Scout Association, from Cub through to Commissioner (with a handicapping system in place to make it fair for the Commissioner!)
Prizes go to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd placed riders, plus the fastest under-16 racer. Also a feature is the Ladies Trophy and a Team Trophy (now in it’s 44th year). Every rider completing the 7-mile bramble strewn course will be awarded a commerative badge.
