Ken Smith passed away on 28th February after a short illness.
Ken had been involved in Scouting ‘man & boy’ right up to the end. He played an important part in Scouting in Eastleigh, and was active as a member under every Chief Scout, including Baden Powell.
He held many appointments both at Group and District level, latterly being District Archivist for Eastleigh.
He was a quiet unassuming man who will be fondly remembered by everyone who he had been in contact with. A true friend to all.
