Eastleigh Network Scout Unit were out in force around Eastleigh District on Monday 17th May with a challenge of “Extreme Ironing”. The challenge is to find odd and unusual places to do some ironing.
Dressed up in Women’s clothing (Don’t ask!!!!!) some of the Network Unit members secretly visited the home of Eastleigh District Commissioner, Mr David McGregor.
“What a brilliant idea” it is good to see our unit members having fun, setting silly challenges to some of older members says David, oddly, the whole family were in when the pictures were taken and no one heard a thing – not even the dog!!!!!
Network Scouts are for adults members aged from 18 – 25 years who want to carry on Scouting whilst at University/College or Leaders wanting to continue with their programme of activities and fun.
