2009 is the Centenary of Scouting on Eastleigh, and on this page you can see some of the activities that are being planned to help us celebrate it.

Sat 31st Super Scout final – 7th HQ
February
Sat 7th Chief Scout Award presentation, Fair Oak Village Hall 7.30pm – award holders and invited guests
Sat 14th Ideas 4 U, County presentation Am & Pm, Thornden School , Chandler’s Ford – All leaders invited
Fri 20th BP Birthday/Founders day celebrations, 1st Eastleigh Scout Hall 7.00pm – all leaders, District team, District Exec
April
Fri.17th, St Georges Day Dinner, The Otter PH, GSL, District Team, District Exec & invited guests
Thurs 23rd, St Georges Day Parade, Eastleigh Town Centre Parade start 6.00pm – ALL sections and leaders
May
Tuesday 12th, District AGM, 7th Eastleigh HQ, Shorts Road, Fair Oak. 7pm start
June
Fri 5/6/7th, District Centenary Camp, Lyons Copse, Wickham – All sections plus invited guests – set up camp available from Thurs 4th evening
July
Eastleigh Scout Awareness day, Wells Place – All day Climbing Wall & Hampshire Scout Unit, Network & Explorer Scouts
Sat 10th Mustard Trophy, Wilverley camp site – Scout section
September
Fri 4/5/6 Gilwell Reunion, District camp for leaders at Gilwell with National event
Fri 18-20th Jolly Boys Camp – Lockerley – Scout section

Sun 8th, Remembrance Day, Parades at Eastleigh Town, Bishopstoke & Fair Oak or elsewhere – All sections & Leaders
