A very successful sesion was held last Tuesday evening at The Concorde Club in Eastleigh. It was led by our District Chairman and District Commissioner and looked at ways in which we can develop Scouting in Eastleigh in future years.

Thank you to everyone who took part.

Our Chairman is now collating the information from the evening and will distribute amongst the groups in the next few weeks.

Scout Holiday Homes 2009 Total

I am pleased to announce that Eastleigh District has raised a staggering £2,052.77 for it’s 2009 nominated charity – Scout Holiday Homes.
Attached is the latest newsletter where you will see that Eastleigh District Scouts has been given it’s own little bit of publicity!

A big Thank You to all those that were involved in raising such a terrific amount for those less fortunate than ourselves – what a great way of showing that our youth members are no couch potatoes whilst celebrating our District Centenary.

Scouts give the greatest gift of all this Christmas

Christmas is a special time for giving and there is nothing greater than giving the gift of life. Twelve young people have courageously put the skills that they have learnt in Scouting into dramatic effect to celebrate their own Twelve Days of Christmas. One of those 12 is 8-year-old Kerena Smith, a Cub at 14th Eastleigh.
