Eastleigh Networks Cooking skills get the thumbs up…

August 17th, 2008

Well, not quiet cooking but BBQ’ing. For the second year in a row we have all been down to Normandy Court sheltered housing in Wickham to feed and entertain the residents.

The massive drum BBQ was dusted off (most of it seemed to be rust rather than dust) and fired up.

While the chicken legs were a cooking and salads being created a few of us ran an interactive Countdown game. All the residents joined in and had a great time… and they are all a lot better at using their brains than any of the network! 23 x 32 - 2 = ????

Anyway, with the success of the countdown game we have been booked in for a return every couple of months, not to do a BBQ but just to provide an evening of entertainment for them all!
