Eastleigh District Scouts growth continues. The recent annual District census shows a growth of 5% in 2010/2011. David McGregor, District Commissioner for Eastleigh was pleased with the continuing growth and thanked all his leaders for their continued effort in ensuring that Scouting is relevant and fun – this is shown by a staggering 21.5% increase in youth members in 3 years. The recent adult recruitment campaign for leaders/helpers held in November 2010 will able all sections to grow in 2011/12 and offer more young people a chance to be part of the largest youth organisation in the world
